Product Update: Package Folders & Expanded Package Library

3/30/26 - Update Overview:

With this update, IT teams gain an additional 69 packages from the PDQ package library. Packages can now be placed into Package Folders, to help keep the package page organized.

Package Folders:

With the hundreds of packages provided by PDQ, and the ability to create custom packages, it can be a struggle for IT teams to keep the packages within PDQ Connect organized. With this update, IT teams can now sort package into folders, keeping the library of packages clean and tidy.

PDQ Provided Folders:

All packages provided and maintained by PDQ have been organized into different folders based on the type of application. For example, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and others, can all be found in the Messaging folder. PDQ maintains the package folder structure for packages that PDQ offers automatically in the library.

Custom Package Folders:

Custom packages appear automatically in the "My packages" section on the Packages page. By default, there are no folders created automatically - users can create folders, and subfolders, then drag and drop custom packages into those folders.

Expanded Package Library Apps

The PDQ Package library has expanded, with 69 new packages now available in the library. Packages include top applications like Snagit 2026, Wireshark, Cisco Jabber, Lastpass, and more.
