Software inventory
The Software page allows you to to view all installed software in your environment grouped grouped by software title (wherever possible). Look at my cool new draft
For each software item, you can view the count of software installations in your environment meeting the following characteristics:
- Installed: any version of the software is installed
- Latest: the latest version of the software is installed
- Outdated: a version older than the latest version of the software is installed
Additionally, there is a column which counts devices meeting the following characteristics:
- Not installed: on a device with a compatible operating system, no version of the software is installed
The Software page counts software installations, not devices.
If a piece of software allows side-by-side installation of multiple versions of the same software, a single device may appear more than once.
Software is grouped separately based on OS version.
Each number that appears on the Software tab is clickable, and will display a filtered list of software installations and devices corresponding to that column - and you can easily switch to other counts (and corresponding software installation lists) by clicking on the category on the left pane.
For example, here is a Software summary view, which lists all installations of that software in your environment.
Note that, like a device group, this view can be filtered or searched.
Vulnerabilities grouped by Software
For plans which support Vulnerability Management, there are two additional columns.

Total vulnerabilities: all vulnerabilities affecting versions of the software that are currently installed in your environment

Vulnerable devices: all devices that are affected by vulnerabilities with this software.
