Dashboard

Overview

The Dashboard page allows you to see live metrics about your environment at a glance, including Device health, Device count (and changes), deployment performance, and vulnerability exposure at a glance.

Most elements on the Dashboard are interactive — clicking a widget takes you directly into the relevant filtered view in Connect so you can move from insight to action without hunting.

Dashboards are scoped to show information over the last 7 days.

Devices

Devices that need attention

The Devices that need attention section displays a count of:

  • Stale devices (Offline 7+ days)
  • Low disk space (<20% remaining)
  • Needs reboot (updates or installations pending a device reboot)

Click any of the sections to go to a filtered Devices view showing those specific devices, in order to easily take action on them.

Total Devices

In the Total Devices section, you can see the size of your device fleet and how it has changed over time.

The New flag indicates devices that are <3 days old, matching the meaning of the New flag on the Devices page. Click the New device count to go to a filtered view containing all new devices.

Operating system breakdown

The Operating system breakdown section displays a stacked bar chart of each OS version in your environment.

You can mouse over each OS version to see a flyover containing a count of each major version of that OS.

Click on any of the sections to go to a filtered view containing devices running that specific OS version (e.g. Windows 11 25H2).

Deployments

The Deployments graph will show the count of total and failed deployments.

Click on the number below Total deployments or Failed deployments in the top left corner to take you to a filtered view containing those specific deployments.

The trend line can help to distinguish a one-off bad day from a systemic issue (i.e. increased failure rate over time).

You can mouse over a date the graph to display the totals for that specific date.

Vulnerabilities

PLAN AVAILABILITY COMPONENT. DO NOT EDIT ME

The active vulnerabilities trend section will display all vulnerabilities in your environment, broken down by Active, Resolved, and New.

You can use the trend line to evaluate how your remediation efforts are keeping pace with new exposure over time.

Click the numbers in the top left corner to see a filtered Vulnerabilities view containing only those items.

You can mouse over a date the graph to display the totals for that specific date.

Most impacted software

The Most impacted software section shows software grouped by vulnerability count, with the devices containing the most critical vulnerabilities at the top.

You can click the software name to see its listing on the Software page, containing showing all devices running vulnerable versions, and letting you easily deploy a package or set up an automation to remediate it.

For those vulnerabilities which have a PDQ Package Library package recommended, you can click Deploy latest directly from the dashboard to deploy the latest version of that software to all affected devices.

As with other deployment actions on the platform, you will see a list of targeted devices and the selected package to confirm before proceeding with the deployment.

Active vulnerabilities

The Active vulnerabilities view contains gauge charts of the count of active vulnerabilities by severity, with a colored band representing the percentage of the total that each category represents.

You can click any of the numbers to see a filtered vulnerability list of all vulnerabilities at each severity level.

Outstanding vulnerabilities by age

The Outstanding vulnerabilities by age graph groups vulnerabilities by both severity and age - and you can click on any of the individually colored bar chart sections to see a filtered view containing only those vulnerabilities at the target age and severity.

On the Vulnerabilities page, you can click the hamburger menu in the top left to view which filters are in effect.

Median time to remediate

The Median time to remediate graph displays a breakdown (by vulnerability severity) of the actual elapsed time that it took to remediate vulnerabilities by severity within your environment.

This value is calculated based on Resolved vulnerabilities only (not those which are marked as ignored).

This graph displays remediation performance data over the last 90 days.

Customize colors

To customize the colors used on the Dashboard page, click the color bar in the top right corner and choose your preferred colors.
