PDQ Connect Not Loading

If app.pdq.com keeps spinning and never finishes loading, a few quick steps can usually fix it. If nothing works, the issue may be a temporary disruption on PDQ's end.

Troubleshoot environment issues

If this is your first time trying to access PDQ Connect, it's possible your environment may not be set up to make use of our platform. Whether antivirus, proxy, firewall, or other network security or environmental factors, there are many ways in which your access to PDQ Connect can be blocked. 

Check to make sure all appropriate Antivirus Exceptions and Network Requirements are in place. 

You may be able to identify a blockage source by checking any logging that may exist in your AV or firewall platform. You can also test whether a device external to your network environment is able to successfully communicate and receive package deployments. 

If you were previously able to use PDQ Connect in your environment but began experiencing issues, check whether any recent configuration changes to your network security environment may be newly blocking your access. 
 

Troubleshoot browser issues

1. Clear the browser cache for app.pdq.com

A stale or corrupted cache is the most common cause of the portal not loading. Clear the cache specifically for app.pdq.com rather than your entire browser history.

In Chrome:

  1. Go to chrome://settings/content/all in your address bar.
  2. Search for app.pdq.com.
  3. Click the trash icon next to it to clear its stored data.
  4. Refresh the page and try again.

In Edge, Firefox, and other browsers, look for a Clear data for this site or Forget about this site option in your browser's settings or history. 

2. Try a private or incognito window

Open a private or incognito browser window and go to app.pdq.com. This bypasses extensions and session data. If the platform loads in private mode, the issue is likely tied to your browser's stored data or an extension — clearing the cache (Step 1) should resolve it.

3: Try a different browser

If the portal still won't load, try opening it in a different browser (for example, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox). This helps confirm whether the issue is specific to one browser.

Check the PDQ status page

If the portal isn't loading in any browser or private window, there may be a temporary service disruption on PDQ's end. Check status.pdq.com for real-time updates on any known issues.

Service disruptions typically resolve on their own within a short time. You do not need to take any action — check the status page for updates.
